DECA U

Who we are & what we do...

DECA U

DECA U Brock (The Canadian University division of Delta Epsilon Chi) is part of an intercollegiate competitive network of 185,000 students.

We integrate classroom curriculum with business simulations and case study competitions to prepare YOU for a variety of careers in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. We link theory to practical, real-life knowledge.

DECA U’s high school affiliate, DECA Ontario began in North America more than 57 years ago with the goal to improve education and career opportunities for students seeking careers in fields relating to business. Together, DECA Ontario and DECA U continue to provide students with the tools and techniques to learn and develop the transferable skills necessary to survive in today’s business world.

Throughout the year, the team also plans to participate in community enrichment activities through the Delta Epsilon Chi (U.S. version of DECA U) passport program.

Competitions...

The DECA U team proudly represents Brock University through attendance, and strong participation in conferences at the regional, provincial and international level. During our first year as a chapter in 2007-2008, 14 members of the team competed in 13 events at the Provincial Conference held in Toronto, Ontario. Later in the year, 5 of the team’s highest performing individuals were invited to attend the Delta Epsilon Chi International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, competing amongst 1,200 of the Continent’s future business leaders.

ICDC 2009 will take place in Anaheim, California.
